Key Service Related Terms

Content: Meaning any text, images, graphics, software, video, audio and other materials.

Student: Meaning the user availing the tutoring and other Services of FavTutor, i.e., anyone who reserves or schedules tutoring.

Tutor: Meaning the Tutoring Service provider accessible via the platform and the one who signed up and approved for tutors.

Tutoring Services: Meaning any teaching service a student gets from the tutors on the platform.

User: Meaning any person visiting the website including the students, tutors, moderators, etc.

These Terms of service shall apply to every user who has either joined FavTutor for the purpose of online tutoring and/or using the Community forum for educational purposes.

Agreeing to these shall mean that: FavTutor may at any time change or modify these Terms and Conditions. We will notify for any changes or modification through email to our users at the registered email addresses. However, we do not obtain any liability for such notification; therefore, we advise you to read our Terms and Conditions available on the website on regular basis.

• If you are a student seeking online tutoring services and aged 14 and under, you must review these terms of services with your parent or guardian to ensure your agreement. Also, confirm that all the information provided by you is accurate and complete.
• Only one account per user is allowed. Students cannot avail FavTutor’s services using multiple accounts.
• Students are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your registered account, username and password with FavTutor.
• Students of FavTutor must immediately notify if they suspect any unauthorized use of their account or access to their password.
• When registering with FavTutor, students agree to not sell, share or otherwise transfer their account or other rights to anyone else.
• FavTutor has the right to terminate or block your account for any reason at its sole discretion without any notice and without any liability.
• Students are not authorized to use the services of FavTutor if their accounts have previously been suspended or closed by us.

Content Validity

Students are exclusively in charge of the content they submit through or in connection with FavTutor’s services including, but not limited, to our Community Forum. You must comply by the following rules, as FavTutor may terminate the responsible accounts in addition to removing any unsuitable or prohibited content you put on its website, and/or immediately report such activities to law enforcement authorities, as appropriate. Prohibited user content may include but not limited to content that we may determine as:

• Hostile and promotes or otherwise actuates racism, bigotry, hatred or physical harm of any type against any group or individual.

All communications and transactions must be conducted through the FavTutor platform. This policy allows us to provide necessary support and issue refunds if needed, ensuring a secure and reliable experience for all users.

• Employment Status: Tutors engaged by FavTutor are considered part-time employees of our platform. They are selectively recruited based on stringent criteria to ensure the highest standards of tutoring service.
• Quality Assurance: Each tutor undergoes a comprehensive vetting process, including qualifications verification and skill assessments, to ensure they are well-equipped to provide quality educational support. We take pride in the professional development and continuous training of our tutors to maintain excellence in tutoring services.
• Nature of Service: While our tutors are part-time employees, it's important to note that their services are provided independently in a manner consistent with their professional discretion and expertise. FavTutor facilitates the connection between students and tutors but does not directly supervise each tutoring session.
• Limited Representation and Warranty: FavTutor endeavors to maintain a high caliber of tutors. However, the inclusion of a tutor in our program does not imply a guarantee of their performance in every individual circumstance. FavTutor makes no explicit warranties regarding the tutors' services beyond their professional qualifications as verified at the time of hiring.
• Liability Limitation: FavTutor is committed to ensuring a safe and effective learning environment. However, we are not liable for the individual actions or behaviors of our tutors outside the scope of their professional duties as outlined by FavTutor. Any issues arising from a tutor's conduct or the quality of the service provided are addressed through our internal review and disciplinary procedures.
• Feedback and Dispute Resolution: We encourage students to provide feedback on their tutoring experiences. FavTutor takes student concerns seriously and has mechanisms in place for addressing and resolving disputes or issues related to tutoring services.

Our Student Support Specialists are responsible for matching students with tutors. These specialists consider various factors such as the tutor’s expertise, teaching style, and availability to find the best match for each student's unique needs.
• Tutoring Sessions: Once a tutor is assigned, students receive all necessary details, including the schedule and communication method for the live tutoring session. Our tutors are committed to understanding each student's learning style and customizing the tutoring session to maximize effectiveness.
• Homework Help: For students seeking homework help, our Student Support Specialists carefully select tutors who are experts in the relevant subject. The selected tutors guide students through problem-solving processes, focusing on enhancing understanding and learning, rather than simply providing answers.

Academic honesty

Favtutor’s services are provided for facilitating learning and not cheating. You shall not use the site to inquire about, engage in, or assist in any form of academic dishonesty. For example- completing projects, writing academic papers or essays, taking (or help take) quizzes or examinations on someone’s behalf, or completing work in violation of academic policies of a school, university, academic institution or workplace.

We believe in genuine tutoring, hence we can aid you by guiding you at each step. We help in step-by-step problem solving, but our tutors will not do any work on your behalf or attend classes on your behalf.

Cancellation and Refund

Our refund and cancellation policies vary depending on the type of service you have availed. We strive to provide clarity and flexibility to accommodate the needs of our users while ensuring the highest quality of our services.

1. Homework and Tutoring Help:

• FavTutor is dedicated to delivering quality solutions and effective tutoring. If you are dissatisfied with our homework help or tutoring services, we offer a full refund.
• Refund requests must be made within 7 days of service delivery. Include a detailed explanation of your concerns in your request to help us improve our services.

2. Courses:

• If you need to cancel your course enrollment, we offer a 100% refund for cancellations made within 5 days of the successful payment.
• No refunds are available for cancellations made more than 5 days after payment.

3. AI Tools:

• Due to the nature of our AI Tools, which involve a one-time payment, refunds are not available once a purchase has been made.

• All financial transactions to be processed in US currency. FavTutor never asks students for their personal information such as account username, password, debit or credit card information, etc., via email or text message. FavTutor is not responsible for any misuse of such information, hence it is advisable to be safe.
