Imagine having an assistant that can do a wide variety of tasks autonomously and efficiently. Manus AI claims to be that general AI assistant which people are calling the “Next DeepSeek Moment” in the AI world. This is because it is developed by a Chinese startup, called Monica, and they say they are even better than OpenAI’s tools. Whether this is true or not can be checked when people test it, and here are some of those use cases!
10 Amazing Real Work Tasks Completed by Manus AI
What sets Manus AI apart is that it doesn’t just provide recommendations, but can complete tasks on its own.
A general-purpose AI agent that interacts with its environment, gathers data, and uses it to complete tasks aligned with specific goals is widely considered the future of AI applications. Based on its demo, Manus can autonomously browse websites, utilize various tools, and showcase its workflow in real-time.
The best way to understand it is with examples, so here they are:
1) Stock Analysis in 1 Hour
On the official demo, one of the highlighted tasks is Stock Analysis. Such analysis requires days or even weeks to complete, but Manus did it in less than 1 hour. Here’s the complete process for Tesla Stock Analysis:
Manus, the new AI product that everyone's talking about, is worth the hype.

This is the AI agent we were promised.
Deep Research+Operator+Computer Use+Lovable+memory.
Asked it to "Do a professional analysis of Tesla stock " and it did ~2wks of professional-level work in ~1hr! pic.twitter.com/qipMcWPIX6
Like the OpenAI’s o-series reasoning models, it did the planning on how it will complete the task. Then, it executed every step, like an OpenAI’s Operator AI Agent. Then, it developed a website like a coding AI assistant. This means, you don’t have to juggle through multiple AI tools; everything is in one place. You can check out the dashboard here.
2) Coding a Game
Coding is the most common task that users like to test AI agents to see how well they can plan and code. Here is one such example:
Prompt: “code a threejs game where you control a plane”
Output:
Manus AI just killed vibe coding yesterday.

People can't believe how mind blowing this agentic AI is.
Unlocking new possibilities.

It did a fantastic job!
3) The UI Shortcut
In this demo, Manus was provided with a website. Based on the design and style of the website, it has to create icons that match the style. For example, they asked it to generate icons for the TechCrunch website, which they can use for their PowerPoint presentations:
While they are not looking so great, all this is done with a single prompt and in a few minutes. So, at least small businesses can reduce graphic design costs with this AI agent.
4) Planning a Trip
All the AI agents launched recently have focused on a specific use case: planning a trip. This is a great task for AI because it involves figuring out lots of things, looking for flights, to planning a complete itinerary.
The user asked Manus AI for a 2-month family trip in 4 countries with proper flight, accommodation, and food arrangements, as well as create a travel book:
manus is the craziest AI agent!
— Lamar (@LamarDealMaker) March 8, 2025
it was asked to:
• Plan 2-month family trip
• Australia → NZ → Argentina → Antarctica
watch it self-assign tasks, browse the web, research, and then creates a stunning itinerary with stays, budget & a food guide!🤯 pic.twitter.com/DcGysCj7mV
It browsed through many websites for research and finally generated a complete guide in just a few minutes.
5) Lectures to Notes
Manus has multimodal capabilities: You can prompt it with images, video, and audio files as well. Here, it was given a 50-minute recording of the MIT OpenCourseWare and it had to generate lecture notes. for it.
It first transcribed the lecture with almost 95% accuracy and organized them into notes. But then, it was asked to design an engaging HTML-based interactive course presentation. And well, it excelled in that too:
This is just a snapshot from the presentation. It covers all the key concepts from the MIT OpenCourseWare lecture interactively and engagingly.
6) Conducting Research
With a simple text prompt, the AI Agent can do research as well as generate code to validate results. In the end, it gives you a detailed report.
For the given prompt, Manus AI conducted online research, generated Python code, validated all results, and published a detailed report in 47 minutes.
Prompt: “Calculate the optimal Hohmann transfer orbit for a spacecraft traveling from Earth to Mars, including the required delta-v (change in velocity) at each maneuver, considering the current positions of Earth and Mars in their orbits as of March 2025. Also, account for gravitational influences from the Sun and other planets.”
Output:
Manus AI is freaking insane and I have not used anything like this before.

Disclaimer: I am not paid by Manus AI to write this, I just feel lucky to have gotten access.

For scientists and researchers, this can save them a lot of time. All they will require is proper prompting, and days of work can be done in minutes.
7) Manage Your Business
Manus AI was given last month’s sales data (in Excel format) of an Amazon store to analyze it thoroughly. It was also asked to create charts and graphs with specific, data-driven strategies to boost next month’s sales.
After a few minutes, it did all the work:
Instead of using multiple tools to generate charts and searching for growth strategies, everything was done with a single prompt.
8) Creating Tweets
The user asked Manus AI to create 4 weeks of content for his Twitter/X account about a specific topic:
I just created 4 weeks on content in 2 minutes with Manus!
— Clintin Lyle Kruger (@Lyle_AI) March 9, 2025
This is the closest I've felt to AGI.
Manus creates separate docus with each 𝕏 post/thread saved in as drafts.
Final step: copy over to Typefully or any post scheduler and automate your social media growth. pic.twitter.com/z00m388yU1
The best part is that it also recommended the best time to post them as well as hashtags to be included.
9) Creating Animation
Another cool test users do with AI agent is for creating Animations.
Prompt: “Create an amazing animation using p5.js”
Output:
Manus AI is really strong. UX is amazing and output is really good. Here my friedn prompt: "Create an amazing animation using p5js" pic.twitter.com/W6ASufC08g
— Ivan Fioravanti ᯅ (@ivanfioravanti) March 8, 2025
While the prompt was not too specific, it clearly shows how “creative” the AI agent can be.
10) A Complete Website with lots of Animation
Making a website is not easy. Then, a website with lots of JavaScript animation is something that AI agents can easily do.
Here’s the prompt given to Manus: “I am a middle school physics teacher preparing to teach the law of conservation of momentum. Could you create a series of clear and accurate demonstration animations and organize them into a simple presentation HTML?”
This not only required the AI to research all the key points for this lesson, but also generate animations in an HTML format. It gave us all the files for such an interactive website:
Each animation includes interactive controls where students can adjust parameters like mass, velocity, and other variables to see how they affect momentum.
So, if you can imagine it, Manus AI can make it happen.
Takeaways
On their website, Manus has showcased how it has outperformed leading AI models from OpenAI’s Deep Research on the GAIA benchmark. This test is made for evaluating an AI agent on real-world task capabilities. If this is true, this can be a game-changer!
Here’s what the founder has to say about Manus AI: “We see it as the next paradigm of human machine collaboration and potentially a glimpse into AGI.”
