Perhaps the biggest advantage of Sublime Text 3 is its lightness. Having used both, I noticed that Sublime Text 3 runs flawlessly even on a 4GB RAM laptop with other applications running. However, Visual Studio Code starts lagging if more than four applications run simultaneously (please note that this only applies to low-spec PCs).
