Claude 3.5 Sonnet made wonders when it was released worldwide. Developers tried and tested out the Artifacts feature and deployed several sorts of applications such as Web Apps, React Games, Interactive Animations and so much more.

Now guess what? You can take all of your creations to a whole new level. You can publish all of your Artifacts online where they will be made visible to the general public.

Highlights:

  • Now Anthropic lets you publish and remix Artifacts created with Claude 3.5 Sonnet.
  • You can publish your artifacts and share them with others for them to view and remix them.
  • You can remix others’ artifacts as well by interacting with and modifying them.

Publishing Artifacts on Claude is Now Possible

Claude’s artifacts are an effective instrument for content creation. By releasing your works to the public and remixing other people’s art, you can advance your creations. It’s very simple to take your creation to the next level.

When you publish an artifact on Claude 3.5 Sonnet, it becomes available to the public, enabling others to examine and alter it. This is how you do it:

  • Go to Claude.ai and ask Claude 3.5 Sonnet to deploy any web app/ react game app/ animations/ diagrams in the Artifacts section.
  • After Claude generates your Artifact, navigate to it on the right side of the screen in the Artifacts section.
  • Search for the “Publish” button linked to that particular Artifact version.
  • To make this version of your Artifact available to the public, click “Publish”.
  • Once your Artifact gets published, you will get the link to your published artifact. You can copy the link and visit it to view your Artifact.
  • The link can also be shared with others for them to view and remix your Artifact.

The viewable content and any related code of that particular version becomes public when you publish an Artifact. Before posting, make sure you feel safe sharing every part of this version.

Look at this example where you can see a user creating an interactive learning game web app in the form of a quiz based on the PDF and Transcript of a workshop attached. Soon after Claude generates the amazing game web app artifact, you can see how the user publishes it for the public.

Anthropic just announced Claude's Artifacts can be published online.

This just changed online education forever.

Every single piece of content, screenshot, PDF, presentation, etc., can now be turned into an interactive learning game.

Here’s the published Artifact link for you to see.

Keep in mind that once your Artifact gets published, the conversations you had with Claude leading up to that Artifact will remain hidden and remain private. Also, it is not always the case that updated versions of an Artifact are released. If you want the public to see them, you’ll have to publish each version individually.

Unless you specifically publish older versions of the Artifact, they remain unpublished. So, make sure to keep track of any changes you make to your Artifact.

Remixing Other’s Artifacts on Claude

You can not only view Published artifacts but also modify and interact with them. You can expand upon and alter published Artefacts through remixing.

  • Look for the “Remix this Artifact” button when viewing a published Artifact.
  • To initiate a fresh Claude conversation with the content of the Artifact, click the button.
  • After that, you will be taken to Claude, where you can work with and alter the Artifact.

Clicking “Remix this Artefact” will immediately activate Artifacts for your account if you haven’t used them before. In the same way, you will be asked to create an account if you do not already have one on claude.ai.

A new thread in Claude will be initiated once you choose the remix option. They include; the character’s name, and details on the Artifact’s content with the original being added to the conversation. You can then adapt it, add it to the Artifact, or use it to help inspire your creations.
