Recently, Meta also added its Meta AI chatbot on several platforms. The LLM has been highly efficient till now, fulfilling all sorts of requests as per user needs. Now, Microsoft plans to do a similar type of thing. It will provide all of Copilot’s capabilities more easily with easier access through the Telegram chatbot App.
Microsoft Copilot is now available on Telegram in Beta. It is free to use for all Telegram Web and Mobile Users, under the username @CopilotOfficialBot. It official bio reads as “Copilot: Your everyday AI companion, now on Telegram!”.
It can responds to queries using natural language on a variety of subjects, including information requests, travel advice, sports news, and movie suggestions. It allows users to communicate with it just like they would with any other messaging service.

“Copilot is a personal generative AI assistant powered by GPT model and Bing Search, available within Telegram. Copilot for Telegram uses natural language to provide responses on a range of topics, from seeking knowledge to travel tips to sports updates to movie recommendations. Let Copilot enhance your Telegram experience with its quick-witted assistance and endless curiosity.”
Since 2023, Copilot has been a very efficient chatbot. Users on its free tier can access most features, while priority access to newer features, including custom chatbot creation, is provided to paid subscribers under the “Microsoft Copilot Pro” paid subscription service.
The free edition of Microsoft Copilot comes with a number of default chatbots, such as the regular Copilot chatbot and Microsoft Designer, which is focused on utilizing its Image Creator to create images in response to text commands.
How to Access It?
To access Copilot on Telegram, you need to first search Microsoft Copilot, on the Telegram search bar.
When the chat interface opens, click on START. It will then ask you to share your number with it, following which you can get started with the chatbot.
If you don’t have Telegram yet on your PC or Mobile Phone, download the Telegram app, register and search for Microsoft Copilot. Alternatively, you can search for Copilot by typing @CopilotOfficialBot in the search bar.

1) Coding Assistance
Copilot for Telegram can be an easy shortcut for developers who are looking for faster ways to debug, troubleshoot, and optimize their code snippets. Just give the Chatbot your code snippet with your desired Prompt and witness the magic unfold.
We asked Copilot on Telegram for an intermediate Coding Task, and we asked for the A* Algorithm code in AI. This is what we got and it’s so impressive!
It completely explained the code with the initialization, and execution with even several reference links on the live web. What was more impressive is that it even included a visual representation to better explain the algorithm.
2) Solving Math Equations
Since Copilot on Telegram can even solve complex math equations and science problems, we wanted to put this to the test.
We had a simple problem in math based on Linear Equations in Two Variables, and this was the question.
Find the solution of the following system of equations.
-x+2y-3 =0
3x+4y-11=0
The answer for this is x = 1 and y = 2.
Just see how Copilot responded, and we were simply wonderstruck. Not only did it get the correct answer but it also showed and simplified the entire process.
One thing which we saw repeated here is that it provided reference links here again. Maybe it uses the Bing Search Engine to extract live data and information on the Web.
3) Drafting an Email Response
The last thing we wanted to check is how good it is at drafting email responses. We went for a formal email query stating the following:
“Draft a formal email to your CEO, stating you want to shift to a technical software developer role from a non-technical marketing role, in your company”
The email generated by Copilot felt nothing less than perfection. Not only did it provide a well-structured email containing the subject, details, and reasons for the email. But it also provided reference links again with tips and tricks as to how we can improve our email writing skills.
Overall, after trying all these use cases, Copilot for Telegram seems complete as a chatbot in today’s world. Of course, it depends, on what users want from it depending on their needs, but I would say it is the faster alternative for you if you wish to solve your tasks faster and accurately with instant access.
