We have chatbots and personalized recommendation systems, and now we can use them to create playlists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Spotify was the first among major players to start beta testing for their AI playlist feature. With a wave of positive reviews for the same, Amazon must have thought they could not be left behind. So, they <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aboutamazon.com\/news\/entertainment\/amazon-music-maestro-ai-playlist-generator\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">launched Maestro<\/a>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Maestro is an AI-powered playlist generator for Amazon Music that helps users create any playlist according to the text prompts provided by them.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"jeg_video_container jeg_video_content\"><iframe title=\"Meet Maestro | Amazon Music\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/g830h05HppE?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Users can enter the text prompts, like their current mood, the activity they are going to do, or anything specific they like. The prompts can even have emojis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the first big AI feature that Amazon Music has integrated into their service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to Access It?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Amazon Maestro is rolling out in beta to a small number of customers on all tiers, whether it&#8217;s free, prime, or unlimited, of Amazon Music in the USA. Both iOS and Android users are eligible for the beta access.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, there will be some differences in how extensively you can use the AI feature. Top-tier unlimited subscribers can listen to playlists instantly and save them. Prime and Free users can listen to 30-second previews of the suggested playlists before saving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although Maestro is being rolled out to beta testers, Amazon emphasizes that it&#8217;s still a work in progress. Users may need to experiment with prompts to fine-tune playlist results. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, measures have been implemented to block offensive language and inappropriate prompts. Users are encouraged to provide feedback to improve the overall experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to use Maestro?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The users who got access to Maestro must first have downloaded the latest version of the Amazon Music application.  They will have a Maestro icon on their home screen or they can create a new playlist and talk (similar to creating a normal playlist).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> Then, they have to enter the prompt via text or voice. Tap on the &#8216;Let&#8217;s go!&#8221; button and the Maestro will create a unique playlist according to the prompt using AI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are some prompt ideas to test it initially: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\ud83d\ude2d and eating \ud83c\udf5d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make my \ud83d\udc76 a genius<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Myspace era hip-hop<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\ud83c\udfdc\ufe0f\ud83c\udf35\ud83e\udd20<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Music my grandparents made out to<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\ud83c\udfa4\ud83d\udebf\ud83e\uddfc<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I tracked my friends and they\u2019re all hanging out without me<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>One interesting thing to note is that the users can also add emojis. A single emoji can also work!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;Feel like listening to songs that sound like \ud83e\udd16? Maestro\u2019s got you. Within seconds, you\u2019ll be able to admire your use of emojis to evoke the perfect songs, and get a unique-to-you playlist that brings a selection of electronic and robot-like tracks to life. All that\u2019s left to do is listen to what you created, save it, share it with friends to listen, and they can create their own to share back.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Other than that, the prompts can be even a single word or a long phrase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Conclusion<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We don\u2019t know much about Maestro\u2019s capabilities but it\u2019s sure to get better and better post beta testing. We\u2019re excited to see how this holds up against Spotify\u2019s version of the AI playlist feature.
